Every fall marks a new chapter in the Preston Ford story—one fueled by passion, progress, and the drive to keep reaching higher. For over a decade, we’ve proudly ranked among the Top 100 Ford Dealers nationwide, and last year we celebrated a standout achievement, securing the 44th spot overall. We also placed 10th in the nation for New Ford Commercial Sales and 5th nationwide for December New Ford Sales, proving that our team’s commitment and our customers’ trust continue to set us apart. Since our last Race to the Top, the Preston Ford family has only gained momentum. This year, readers of Coastal Style Magazine once again recognized Preston Automotive Group as the  Best Car Dealership in both Dorchester and Talbot Counties. Our founder, Dave Wilson Sr., was also celebrated as the Best Businessman in both counties—a true testament to his leadership, vision, and the values that continue to drive our success. In 2025, Dave Sr.’s dedication and impact were further honored with a nomination for TIME Dealer of the Year, marking another proud milestone in our journey. Driven by Community: Preston Cares

Our success has always been powered by something greater than sales—it’s powered by people. Through our Preston Cares initiative, we proudly give back to the communities that have supported us from the very beginning.

This year, one of our most meaningful milestones was made in honor of Carson Wilson, the beloved son of David and Amanda Wilson. Carson’s courageous spirit and joyful heart continue to inspire all of us at Preston Automotive Group. His life and legacy have strengthened our purpose and reminded us why giving back matters more than ever. In Carson’s memory, the Wilson family’s long-standing Wilson Family Foundation was renamed the Hopeins Foundation, a name that reflects both hope and inspiration — the very values that defined Carson’s life. While our commitment to community has always been at the heart of who we are, Carson’s passing has deepened our mission, driving us to make an even greater difference in the lives of others.

Through the Hopeins Foundation, we raised an incredible $250,205 for the Children’s National Hospital Foundation to honor Carson, helping provide hope and healing to children and families when they need it most. That same spirit of compassion has guided our efforts across the Eastern Shore and beyond. We donated $25,000 to help restore the historic Waterfowl Building in Easton, Maryland, and provided $2,500 to each of the 25 fire departments that responded to our devastating 2000 fire—remembering the 25th anniversary of that defining moment in our history. To help fight hunger locally, we raised $29,500 through partnerships with Midshore Meals til Monday and Food for Learning. We also contributed $13,600 to Nemours Children’s Hospital, $13,450 to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, $14,500 to The Tears Foundation and Sea of Hope Foundation, $10,350 to the American Heart Association, and $30,700 to support local technical school programs.

Every month, Preston Cares proudly features a new Preston Frog color, each one representing a local cause close to our hearts. What began as a simple symbol has grown into a movement—a way for our customers to show their support and drive positive change right here at home. And the leap forward continues! Later this year, we’ll host our Fifth Annual Frog’s Fairway Golf Tournament, bringing together friends, customers, and community members for a day of fun, purpose, and giving back.
